(More customer reviews)I bought this in a rush because I was regsitered for the Heartbreak Hundred bicycle ride, and this ride goes down into the hot, hot San Jaquin Valley. The day turned to be only moderately hot, but this shirt lived up to its claim that it actually makes you cooler when worn under a jersey. It's very light, and has a soft feel to it.
The other claim for this item is that it keeps you warmer in cold conditions; a seeming paradox. But, when I started that ride up in Frasier Park at 8am, temperature in the 50's, with a brisk headwind. With only a cycling vest and this base layer I was warm enough to hold out till the temperature warmed up.
I expect that this shirt will go on a lot of rides with me.
