It is NOT heavy cotton - it is made of some really flimsy, slightly scratchy material - it doesn't feel like cotton and is so light weight you can see through it if you hold it up to the light. Not worth the time/money to return, but I wouldn't order this shirt again. Product arrived on time (within parameters stated), but interestingly 4 days AFTER another shirt I ordered on the same day (which was better).
