(More customer reviews)My friend and I both ordered these shirts, and based on the description that American Apparel typically runs one size smaller than other brands (which I know to be true from personal experience with that company directly) I ordered a Medium when I would typically be a small in most other brands. My friend ordered a large because she usually wears a medium. We both received our orders and needless to say, there is no way the sizing on these shirts is correct. The medium I got is larger than any medium I have ever seen in my life (including men's clothing) and her large is basically equivalent to an XX-Large or even larger. We are both swimming in these shirts and the only way we are actually going to be able to wear them is as dresses because the "medium" comes down to my knees. I am a small girl, and maybe should have just ordered a small in the first place, but there is absolutely no way that the shirt I received would actually qualify as a medium in any other circumstance. If you are going to order this shirt, order at least one size smaller than you would typically wear.
