(More customer reviews)For ruggers who are well into our world, the only true t-shirt is a tournament t-shirt, a commemorative, necessarily limited edition which is a springboard for stories of competition and victory, on the field or at the drink-up. But, for most kids, this is not an option. If you're looking for a rugby-themed shirt to promote rugby or to identify yourself as a rugby player that is not event- or team-specific, there really aren't that many that clearly and unequivocally state where you're coming from. This shirt does it, and does it well.
This shirt is unique in that it's a rugby t-shirt in long sleeve. There are not many of these.
The only color is this dark navy. It's a Hanes Heavyweight shirt, with good construction and solid at all seams. The sleeve cuffs are ribbed and slightly elastic. The designs are substantial screen prints, with the front and left sleeve being single-color (yellow/gold), and the back design being yellow/gold highlighted with white.
On the front, there is a 3 ¼" wide rugby ball at the left breast, with "RUGBY" inscribed within it.
The left sleeve sports a 15"-long "RUGBY," in 3 ¼" tall letters.
The back design sports a large overall print, a curved "RUGBY" up top, a player carrying a ball and a "Football Union" below.
Bottom line: This is a great addition to any rugby player's wardrobe, young or old.
