Because of my style of play I noticed I started to get hit and endure alot of injuries while I was on the basketball court, so I decided to purchase the McDavid Dual Density Hexpad Compression Body Shirt. I mainly play outdoors and I figured why not give it a try. However, this shirt was not very helpful because it only covered a small area around my ribs and it kept moving up on my torso while I was playing, so I was ocnstantly pulling it back down. Also, I play outdoors so it gets very hot in the summer time which made this shirt a casualty. If you are a serious player who plays in an indoor league, I believe this is the type of equipment that can help! But if you are just an outdoor oldschool baller like myself stick to the McDavid thigh pads because that is all you need.
