For $25 I expect more rugged cotton, such as a "Haynes beefy T", which will hold up much longer and have less tendency to "twist" when washed. But that's not what irks me most, because there was no promise about the material.
The item photo shows an image that is remarkably similar to the album cover: white "drumhead" area, vivid reds and greens with bright yellow. I went to the album and checked, the image is substantially the same on the shirt photo and the cover art. What arrived was dark and dull except for the metallic gold lettering that replaced the yellow. The reds and greens were so dark they look almost black. There is no white background, but instead gray. This isn't close, either in mood or reproduction.
I specifically bought this shirt because it had such a great reproduction of the album art. That was totally a misrepresentation. DON'T buy this shirt!
I mean it. DON'T BUY THIS SHIRT!

The Sgt. Pepper emblem gets spruced up a bit in this black, soft cotton t-shirt from The Beatles. With gold foil print and "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" repeated in multi-colored dots around the main logo, the Beatles' alter-egos have never looked this good.
