(More customer reviews)I picked up one of these shirts at a local outfitter on a recent trip to Moab, UT. While I balked a bit at paying $35 for a tee shirt, this thing performed wonderfully. Incredibly light weight...you'll hardly know you have it on. I wore it on a rafting trip where we went through class IV rapids and by the time we got back to shore, my shirt was completely dry while everybody with cotton clothing was wringing out their clothes. On top of that, it looks great! I found myself wearing it not only for hikes and other back-country fun but also just around town.
If you're travelling, it's nice to know that these weigh almost nothing and will pack in to an incredibly small space. You could throw half-a-dozen of them in your suitcase (or backpack) and barely notice that they were there. Of course, you can rinse them out in the sink and they'll drip-dry very quickly so there's really no reason to carry that many unless you want an assortment of colors.
This was my first Outdoor Research product and I'm now checking out the rest of their line.
