(More customer reviews)Bought this for my daughter to go to camp over spring break in Florida. Every year the girls come back EATEN UP! The girls last year wear covered with sores and got scars from the scratching.
This year the camp nurse asked my daughter what she was doing becuase she was only getting a bit or two a day and they are outdoors all day long. She told her it was this shirt. No one had heard of a bug repellent shirt. I purchased 3 differnt types from this brand and they all worked good.
Camp was 4 days long and on the last day DD got about 22 bites. We will be buying more of these shirts! By the way, we are very sensitive to comfort, and chemicals, Can't use Tide detergent, etc. DD did develop a very slight rash right after coming home around her arms where the seams were. I assume it's from the chemicals in the fabric. But they were gone in 2 days. The bites would still have been a problem 2 weeks later, so very happy and recommend even for sensitive people.
I also purchase this hat becuase she is fair skinned and it is also a bug repellent item Part of the credit should go to this as well.
