You do have to be careful, though. I originally ordered the large because that's my size, normally. When I got it, it was way too snug (very tight). I sent it back and got the XL, which was much better. I would take caution and order a size higher. It will likely shrink a little bit after the first wash, anyway.
Overall, it's a great shirt, but you have to be careful with the sizing (which is true about most clothing online).
