(More customer reviews)That's what the woman for whom I bought this said! She didn't think it was hokey or overly sentimental. She is a senior and doesn't look phenotypically Cherokee. Still, she likes the young Native woman on the shirt and what she represents. Since I hope this person will become my mother-in-law one day, I'm so glad she liked it. I recommend this shirt for all Native women who want to show pride in their identity. It's a beautiful image of a doubly-oppressed population in this country. Worth every penny!
